Mutton pot is relatively refreshing. It is basically lamb with a little acetic acid. Yuncheng stir-fried pork is average. Scrambled eggs have a bit of Jiangnan characteristics in both light taste and presentation. The chewiness of oat noodles is okay, but it should be made by machine. Bingzhou Hotel is a very good restaurant in Shanxi for a five-day trip. It is a must-try in Taiyuan.
