When we arrived in Wenchang, our local friend Xiao Fu recommended us to go to Wangxi to drink Lao Ba Tea. In fact, morning tea is very popular in Guangdong, and the Lao Ba Tea in Wenchang may be the same.
According to locals, the custom of drinking Lao Ba Tea was brought back by overseas Chinese who worked hard in Nanyang a long time ago and has been passed down to this day.
At 1:30 pm, we rushed to Wangxi Chinese and Western Tea Shop. The store was already full of cars. When we entered the store, the lobby with dozens of tables was half full. It was said that it was full at noon. There are rich varieties here, including steamed snacks, European bread, and crayfish, and the customers have more and more choices. There are also coffee, milk tea, juice... One cup per person with tea and snacks, sitting for most of the day.
Wangxi Chinese and Western Tea is one of the top ten local rankings and is considered an Internet celebrity store. We ordered two cups of lemon tea and shrimp and other snacks to taste slowly, and experience the most authentic slow pace and slow life in Wenchang.
Like Haikou, Wenchang also has the custom of drinking Lao Ba Tea. It is not difficult for people to get up early. Since I am here, I still have to try Wenchang&#39;s morning tea.
Most of the shops in Haikou are called XX Tea House, but the old dad tea in Wenchang is called XX Chinese and Western Tea Shop. I don&#39;t know if it is because they emphasize that there are both Chinese and Western tea shops and drinks. This Wangxi is close to the hotel where I live, and the business is booming. To be honest, if there were no words of snacks and desserts, I would have thought it was a car wash from a distance.
This shop is huge and very noisy. There are at least 50 tables. It is completely the atmosphere of a farmer&#39;s market. After arriving at the store, there will be no waiter to lead you to your seat. Anyway, you can sit anywhere and find a waiter to open the table when you see it.
In addition to Chinese green tea and Pu&#39;er, this tea shop also has Western coffee and milk tea, and you can choose hot or cold, with or without milk. It is quite meticulous. Like Haikou, if you want to pick up the food, you can take the checkout receipt to the stall to pick it up yourself.
There is no menu. Just look at the products directly. Tell the waiter which one you like, and then stamp the receipt to calculate the cost at the end.
In addition to steamed snacks, refrigerated double-skin milk and other Western-style snacks can be taken from the refrigerator and stamped. For drinks, rice rolls, and noodle soup, you can just find a waiter to take the receipt and place an order.
Finally, it will be delivered according to the table number. I saw on the Internet that the crispy taro is delicious, but when I asked the clerk, he said that the crispy taro is only available in the afternoon.

Wenchang chicken is the first of Hainan&#39;s four famous delicacies. White-cut chicken is the most classic. It is particularly fat and tender.
