Hong Kong Dao Xiang Seafood Restaurant( Qiao Kou )

I haven’t been here for a long time. Qiaokou Xinghui Victoria Harbor is actually quite close to my home, but the business district is really unattractive. Every time I come here, it’s basically just for morning and evening tea. The store has been renovated, and now the environment is brighter and looks quite comfortable. After looking at the menu, it mainly features Cantonese dim sum, with some tea and the like. Steamed chicken feet with sauce. The chicken feet are steamed so thoroughly that they melt in your mouth. The flavor of the sauce is quite strong, and the feet are chewy when eaten. Dry-fried beef river, the amount of beef is not a lot, the rice noodles taste pretty good, the taste is moderately salty, and the portion is quite sufficient. Daoxiang Supreme Roasted Goose King, the roasted goose meat is really fragrant, the skin is very crispy, and it is cut into pieces in advance. It is very convenient to eat, but it is a bit salty in the end. The stuffing inside the bean sprout dumplings is really solid, and I feel full after eating it.

I often come to this shop for evening tea. When I was in school, I liked to go to the shop in Han Street for morning tea. They are all from the same shop and the products are the same. It is very familiar and friendly to the morning tea in Hong Kong and Guangzhou. The evening tea is still half price, which is very cost-effective.

This restaurant is a Cantonese-style tea restaurant. The taste is very good, light and delicious. The dim sum is in small portions, which is suitable for ordering more. Children like it. My personal favorite is the pork fat bun and wonton noodles.

Most of the dim sum at Daoxiang is pretty good for production lines. The ingredients and amounts are generous and look good. However, the noodles in the fried beef noodles tasted good, but the beef was cut too thick; the shrimp dumplings were big enough but not chewy enough. The chicken was okay, and the shrimp paste in the dish was flavorful.

Shrimp dumplings, the star product, the shrimp meat is big, very chewy, and tastes very fresh. The crystal skin is very thin, and the shrimp dumplings are also more beautiful. Jinsha red rice sausage, the red rice skin wraps the crispy fried dough sticks and shrimp meat. The rice skin is very good, the thickness is just right, and it tastes delicious when chewed. Fresh shrimp siu mai, filled with lean meat and shrimp, a bite full of juice.

Nowadays, Cantonese cuisine is also springing up everywhere. Daoxiangcun is relatively a good choice. After all, there won't be any big disappointments. The dim sum is relatively good. But the cooking depends on the chef's mood.

We ordered three dishes. The shredded pork with green pepper was quite ordinary. The spicy clams were not bad, but the portion was a little small. However, it was very clean, which was rare. The spicy crab was a highlight. It was very cheap and tasted great. It was not river crab, but sea crab was more suitable for spicy taste. I will come again next time.
