I went to Shenxianju last week.
I&#39;ve always known its stunning scenery.
It&#39;s also known for its painless mountain hikes.
I didn&#39;t expect that the simple night market and farmers&#39; market snacks would bring back such a sense of home from Taiwan.

🌙A must-visit night market street.

🥟The century egg wonton combo:
The skin is thin, the filling is generous, and the meat is nicely chewy.
Add some fried scallions 🍃 for a truly Taiwanese twist.
🥩For barbecue lovers 🍖, be sure to order the fresh pork skewers.
It&#39;s fresh and delicious.
🧋Seeing the streets filled with drinks, mung bean milk, hand-rolled ice jelly, and more,
I was transported to Taiwan. Don&#39;t miss a cup of grass porridge&mdash;a local specialty!

It&#39;s a shame I didn&#39;t have enough food,
otherwise, I&#39;d have grabbed both the stone lotus and ice jelly! During the day, this is a popular spot for local snacks.

A 20-year-old brand. Really affordable!

For 5r, you get a large, meat-filled shaobing!

Very different from the Quzhou shaobing next door!

Quzhou shaobings are thin and crispy, with a savory, savory, and spicy meat filling🌶.

Xianju shaobings are layered and crispy, with a sweet and salty meat filling.

You haven&#39;t had enough.

Just across the street is a food court!
The dessert shop owner raved about it.
I heard the topping noodles are also a specialty!
The one I had wasn&#39;t good enough, so
I can&#39;t recommend it.
(Even if it wasn&#39;t, it still had the flavor of Taiwanese beef noodles.)

📸️Photography: The lotus Buddha cloud in Shenxianju must be photographed! Although it takes 2-3 hours to queue up on weekends and you can only take pictures for 1 minute, but! Whoever takes the picture will look good! It is guaranteed to be a good picture!
🚗Transportation: There is no direct bus to Shenxianju, it is recommended to drive, take a taxi or charter a car.

This is a restaurant named after the Eight Great Bowls, but we have already tasted a lot of them in other restaurants, so we only ordered a salty and sour rice and a bowl of vermicelli soup. The two of us eat a lot, and the salty and sour rice has shredded white radish, which I have never eaten elsewhere; the vermicelli soup has a lot of vermicelli, which tastes delicious.
