Beijing has been incredibly hot lately! I've been heading to Hebei all weekend. It's a 200-plus kilometer drive, not too far or too close. If you want to see more, leave on Friday afternoon or evening. If you're short on time, leave early Saturday morning. The weekend is plenty of time to beat the heat!
Several places in Hebei offer fun, food, and summer escapes, all at a good value 🩷. They're perfect for the whole family. 🎪 I highly recommend Hetou Old Street, 🪭 Fulong Four Seasons Town for a great escape, and 🍖 Baoding, Hebei for the best food.
This time, the 📍 Xinglong Scenic Area was closed due to rain. 🌊 The Red River Rafting was closed. The surrounding Wuling Mountain and Wuling Mountain Aranya are both affected by the rain, making the mountain roads difficult to navigate.
