SHI ZI LOU

I visited Xingyi and stayed at Fu Kang. This restaurant was not far from where I lived, in a small alley. It was inconspicuous, but it was actually quite large, with many private rooms. The food tasted average, and it was ok for a casual meal.

We chose this place for our last meal in Guizhou after being recommended by a local friend. It really does have some special features. At least there are many Guizhou specialty dishes here. Almost all the ones we ordered were special foods recommended to us by the store. Every dish was very, very fresh, and we all ate very full!

The prices of the dishes are OK. Maybe we arrived in Xingyi neither too early nor too late. We had lunch just after the time and dinner a little early. We didn't finish 3 large and 2 small dishes + 5 dishes + 1 soup. The taste was OK, but the service was a bit bad. There was no tea and no waiter around. You have to find it yourself, but the attitude is OK.

It was my first time in Guizhou, and I chose the sour soup fish hotpot next to the hotel for my first meal. The four of us ordered a three-pound river grouper, which was delicious and sour. I still felt salivating when I came back to write a review. It was amazing! However, the waiter's Mandarin communication was not very good. I ordered a portion of local wild vegetables, and I didn't know what they were called after I finished eating. The whole Xingyi gave people a feeling of fresh air, very clean streets, and delicious food. I felt that I chose the right place for this Dragon Boat Festival holiday!

When I came to Xingyi, I went to Buyi Lion House on the recommendation of the locals. It is a very unique restaurant. Whether it is the environment, the dishes, or the waiters' clothes, they are all very unique. I especially like Buyi snacks, pan-fried buns, etc. There are many dishes. Next time I come to Xingyi, I will definitely go again.
