I'm crying! The best restaurant in Nalati! This was my favorite restaurant during my trip to Xinjiang. The Shepherd Grandpa's special cultural dishes were amazing. It's well known that Xinjiang people eat late, and their dishes are often heavy in oil and salt. For mainland Chinese, eating too late can be very upsetting, especially at small, dirty stalls where the oil and ingredients are not clean. This restaurant, however, is relatively light and refreshing, with a wide and varied menu, making it more accessible to the general public. The waitress was friendly and attentive, proactively explaining how to prepare Loulan's First Palm and how to top the handmade ice cream with various jams. You can even get a free lamb pudding by checking Dianping.com! I highly recommend the spicy chicken; it's a generous portion, not pre-prepared, and incredibly crispy. Paired with rice, it's a truly satisfying evening meal. The only downside is that there can be a wait at peak times. First stop in Xinjiang: Nalati! Straight off the plane...🥹🥹 I'm not exaggerating... You absolutely must try the local Xinjiang specialties! So 🐮... You can't get them anywhere else! The local specialties paired with the large chunks of beef and mutton grilled on Xinjiang skewers are incredible... After visiting the Nalati Sky Grasslands, I was so satisfied with my first meal there!! My friend's recommendation was right! 👍 Xinjiang's local specialties are so fragrant! They're delicious no matter how you eat them... The grilled meat paired with the amazing dipping sauce... I was completely overwhelmed by the food! 😭😭 Later, I went to this restaurant again... Recommended the Loulan First Palm, Hand-Pulled Meat, Baoersak, Yellow Noodle Grilled Meat, Naan Cup Ice Cream, Xinjiang Grilled Skewers, and Sand Scallion Scrambled Eggs. Just eat... You won't stop gushing after each bite!! Delicious!! The restaurant also has a great atmosphere and there's even a dance performance... It's a beautiful photo op! Thanks to the Xinjiang locals for showing me the way!! I've been there three times already!! It's truly one of those Xinjiang dishes I'll never forget. 🥹Super authentic, always packed, generous portions, and the service and ambiance are incredibly exotic~ Every table must order Loulan's First Palm (Ox Paw). The sticky, tender, sour, spicy, and fragrant beef tendon is so delicious, piping hot from the wok, it's so fragrant! When I eat with friends, I have to fight over it! (No exaggeration!) Their mutton soup pot meat 🍗 is slow-cooked over low heat, giving the mutton a rich and delicious flavor that warms both the heart and the stomach! I even took a few Napoleons away when I left. The ingredients were so generous, and each bite was incredibly satisfying! Who truly understands the value of a single bite... My friends and I ordered a full table and didn't disappoint. We're going back countless times!
