Xianhelou is a time-honored restaurant in Yinchuan, near the South Gate Square. The storefront sign is quite impressive and the environment is relatively clean. I ordered a sweet and sour Yellow River carp, which was fried crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. The sweet and sour taste was good, and their homemade yogurt was also quite refreshing.

The portion is very large, and two people can’t finish it and can only pack it up. The signature lamb dumplings, someone said it was the best dumplings he had ever eaten in his life, and he ate half a catty by himself! Half a catty! Half a catty! Lamb and pasta were originally my least favorite foods, but I feel good these days. Once again confirmed my point of view that there is no bad food in the world, only bad chefs.

People waited for an hour and asked several times, but finally found out that they had not placed the order... It was a mess anyway.

Xianhelou is a century-old restaurant in Yinchuan. It is located on a snack street outside the South Gate Square. People in Yinchuan call it Yangrou Street. This street is next to the most prosperous Xinhua Business District in Yinchuan. Opposite is China Merchants Bank. I went there for a banquet some time ago. The banquet was held inside and it felt quite unique. I still like to eat mutton. The mutton here is more unique. The food tastes good, but the quantity is too small. There are a lot of people at the table. One bite is enough for each person. The big plate is just a little in the middle. Otherwise, it would be fine to divide it into small and large plates. . The food I like is gone before I can finish it. . The environment of the private room is good. The guy who served the dishes left after serving them, and did not announce the names of the dishes. We basically guessed what dishes were served based on our memory.

Xianhelou is an old brand. The Xinhua East Street store is open 24 hours a day. It is large in scale and has a good environment. There are many photos of celebrities dining on the wall. The decoration of the first floor is unique, with small bridges, flowing water, rockery and plants, but the floor is still a bit greasy. The dishes here are dumplings. There are also Xianhe chicken feet, which taste good, but the rest, such as roasted lamb back and hand-pulled lamb, can actually be made in many stores in Yinchuan. The consumption here is relatively high, and the portion is larger, which is suitable for many people to dine together.

This time when I came to Yinchuan, Xinhua Hotel was bought through a group purchase, but I couldn't book it online. Fortunately, there were still rooms available when I arrived. The lady at the front desk booked a king-size room for my wife at a discounted price. Then we went straight to Xianhelou for dinner. We ordered shrimp balls, which were very large. My wife and mother-in-law didn't finish the whole dish. It tasted very good, the service quality was good, and the environment was elegant!!!
