Bad food just won't survive here. 🥙Sandwich Pancakes: 📍Koukouxiangchuan Scallop Sandwich (outside the hutong, across from West Market on Baolijin Street): Lives up to its reputation! Incredibly delicious! I thought I'd imagine the flavor, but after one bite, I was pleasantly surprised! The pancakes are super crispy, pressed on a sizzling iron griddle. Aside from being a little small due to the slow serving, there's nothing wrong with them. 📍Duck Belly Pancakes: Filled to the brim, a great value! Not fishy at all, and very crispy, just a touch salty. 📍 Pocket Pancake: Crispy, generously sized, and fragrant. 📍 Konjac Roujiamo (open in the morning, fried chicken strips in the evening): Lots of varieties, but the konjac ones are special; they're fat-reducing and filling, though sometimes they're out. 📍 Multi-Grain Pancake (at the entrance): I love the ones with pork floss and never tire of them.
