A must-visit place when visiting Zhangjiakou, the only time-honored brand in the area, every time you come here, locals always hold weddings here. The main dish is local cuisine, also called Kou Cai, featuring noodles and beef and mutton, such as Dahan roasted lamb chops, etc. This time, it also incorporates Beijing cuisine features, such as roast duck, Beijing-style pork shreds, etc. I highly recommend their small oil cakes, 8 yuan for 10 pieces, very soft, slightly sweet, with the aroma of fried shrimp and garlic, and the oyster mushrooms underneath are even more flavorful.

But it is one of the best restaurants in Zhangjiakou. When you enter the door, you will see the famous chef of China on the tip of the tongue. It feels very high-class! It is equivalent to Quanjude in Beijing, or maybe even higher. From the environment, I once had the illusion that I was still in the imperial capital. A luxury restaurant must have a killer. Even today, when the eight regulations are strict, it is still full of guests. I went there late that day. It was just after 8 o'clock in the evening. There was only one empty table in the hall. Fortunately. I missed the meal time, so I didn't dare to eat more. I ordered a few dishes and waited until 9 o'clock before they were all served. It was too popular. [Jin Yu Man Tang] Very sweet and sticky, full of taste, adults can eat it in moderation, and children like it. [Mushrooms and Tofu] Mushrooms, a specialty of Zhangjiakou, are very famous. They are fried with local tofu. The taste is great and they are all gone! [Big Plate Chicken] The perfect combination of chicken pieces, onions, potatoes, and a little noodles is too rich. This is a very large dish, and it takes a long time to wait for it. Not to mention 2 people, 3 or 4 people are enough. I have no experience! I still have to drive, so I ordered a drink. There was a main course on one side and a hot pot on the other. There were eight of us at a large table. The dishes were served super fast, the portions were large, and each dish tasted good. I personally like to eat Chaigoubao smoked meat, roast duck, sesame yam (sweet potato), etc. The price is not expensive, and they also give away hot pot rolls (I didn't have a chance to eat them). Is the service overall OK?

Unexpectedly, there is such a great restaurant in Zhangjiakou. I came here three times in a row. The first time was during a wedding banquet and there were no seats. The second and third times, I came as soon as the meal started and had a good meal. The waiters inside are all good, much better than the receptionist at the door, whose attitude is not good. I strongly recommend the grilled lamb chops. I love this dish even though I don’t like grilled lamb chops. The fat is also very fragrant. Although the North-South stew was on the tip of a tongue of China, it pursues the original flavor, but it is not suitable for my taste. I like another dish, grandma’s bamboo shoots. The staple food of his restaurant is very delicious, small oil cakes, fried cakes, yellow steamed buns, and sugar cakes.
