A romantic coffee shop with a good environment and atmosphere, and good coffee quality
Chikan Old Street is full of life, and the coffee shops on the old street are full of romance. The coffee shop is located in an old house. The exterior looks shabby, and there are all kinds of wires hanging on it. If it weren't for the green plants at the door, I would have walked past it. Walking into the store, it's a different scene. The simple wooden tables and chairs show both nostalgia and romance, which doesn't seem to be inconsistent. I ordered a hand brew. The store logo on the tray is very cute and thoughtful. The slightly bitter coffee tastes good and I enjoy the slow time of the old street.
Zhanjiang, western Guangdong. The city in the southwesternmost corner of Guangdong. A cozy city that's become popular thanks to its hidden corners. 📍Shigou Coffee☕ This designer-owned coffee shop on Chikan Old Town's Antique Street also has a graphic design studio in a corner, which makes the surrounding area around the coffee logo even more vibrant. The owner, perhaps a specialist in choosing the right coffee, proactively asks every customer for recommendations. (Is lactose tolerant? Do you want milk? Do you want sweet? Do you want a basic or flavored coffee?) A maple latte with rich, mellow foam and a rich, burnt aroma. I was pleasantly surprised by all the popular coffee shops on this trip. Compared to many cities where coffee just arrives in spring, you can always trust Nanyang Coffee. #CoffeeTravel
Visiting Shigou Coffee in Chikan, Zhanjiang Walking around Chikan Old Street, I was caught in a downpour. I saw a coffee shop nearby and went inside to take shelter. The decor was stunning, so I sat down and ordered. Sea Salt Cake 🍰: The cake is soft and fluffy, like a soufflé. The sea salt sauce is just the right amount of salty and sweet, a little cloying. The dried strawberries are better than Muji's, but overall, it's pretty good. Latte ☕️: It wasn't my order, so I'm not sure, hahaha. Red Velvet Milk Tea 🥤: I forgot to take a picture of the interior, but it's delicious and not too sweet. Overall: The interior is really nice, with a warm yellow hue and a big dog. If you're passing by, you might want to stop in and have a seat; you'll probably love it. PS: The owner is pretty handsome [snicker R][snicker R][snicker R]
While strolling through Chikan Old Street, I stumbled upon Shigou Coffee. I went inside and was captivated by the nostalgic, retro atmosphere. I asked the owner which of their drinks was their signature, but he said none. So I ordered the lychee-flavored sparkling coffee called "Liming," which was surprisingly delicious. The price, at 29 yuan, was reasonable, considering it's located in a scenic area. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends next time they visit Zhanjiang.
