乱七八曹[Atmosphere] Someone in my family was getting engaged, and we chose the Caifenglou Chinese Restaurant at the InterContinental Hotel. We only just discovered they've launched a limited-edition autumn menu featuring "Fresh Seafood"! I had to make sure we had it 🦐🦀️🦞
[Service] Caifenglou is truly a five-star Chinese restaurant. The service was excellent from the moment we walked in. They professionally guided us to our seats, patiently explained the seasonal specialties, and promptly replaced our plates. It felt like hosting a banquet here was truly impressive!
[Taste] 🦐🦐🦐 The Drunken Macrobrachium in Aged Huadiao is a true standout this autumn. Selected seasonal Macrobrachium macerated in 20-year-old Huadiao wine creates a subtle, yet not overpowering, aroma. Gently peeling the shrimp shell reveals the plump, translucent flesh. The moment you take a bite, the aroma of wine and the sweetness of seafood fill your mouth.
🦀️🦀️🦀️The steamed swimming crab with horseshoe mushrooms embodies the essence of freshness to the extreme. The moment you open the crab shell, the bright orange-red crab roe has a creamy texture. A gentle spoonful reveals its mousse-like consistency. The roe melts instantly in your mouth, and the essence of the ocean blooms on your tongue. This fleeting autumn gift is worth savoring.
🦞🦞🦞This innovative dish, infused with Central Plains flavors, retains the original flavor of seafood while cleverly incorporating seasonings preferred by local diners. A pan-fried Boston lobster cake with nepeta and ginkgo preserves the lobster's tenderness while allowing the aroma of nepeta to permeate, showcasing Caifenglou's perfect fusion of Eastern and Western culinary techniques.
The presentation is also exquisite! Every dish is a work of art! I couldn't stop taking photos of every single one! 😭 I almost posted a grid of them right there!
P.S. The limited-edition autumn menu is only available for a limited time, so reservations are recommended to ensure you don't miss this annual seafood feast!

I heard they were having a new seafood season, so I came here just for the seafood. Every dish was delicious and received rave reviews from my family. I didn't expect the dishes I ordered to be such a hit this time, so here's a few to share: Pan-fried Boston lobster cakes with nepeta and ginkgo 🦞 This lobster is shaped like a shrimp cake. I've always had them with sautéed scallions or garlic, but this one is quite unique and a first for me. Kids will love it. The first taste is clear: even though it's a shrimp cake, the ingredients are truly substantial. Each cake is firm and tender, without a lot of batter. Steamed swimming crab with horseshoe mushrooms 🦀 There's no need to say much about the crab; freshness is their signature dish! The crab legs are incredibly meaty, and the chef meticulously removes any inedible parts during cooking. It's cleanly prepared, leaving no fishy smell, leaving only the freshness. The simple seasoning highlights the tenderness... The other dishes were equally impressive, and I felt their menu was relatively novel compared to similar dishes. What is more worth mentioning is the service. Each dish is introduced when it is served. The design of the private room is very private and spacious. It is very comfortable to dine in such an environment.
My son and I had the 168 yuan set meal A, which was very, very good and cheap. After the meal, I kept asking if it was 168 yuan per person? I can't believe that in a five-star hotel, there is soup, fruit, and snacks. There are five or six dishes. Each dish tastes very good. I can't believe it. It has such a high cost performance. I have some nitpicks. First, there is no fruit fork when the fruit plate comes up, and second, the dessert should be served at the end. So I give it four stars for service. The picture is gone and it is basically eaten up. Highly recommended. I was passing through Zhengzhou and stayed for one day, otherwise I could come every day.
Walking into this restaurant is like stepping into a unique dream world. The warm and comfortable environment makes me feel at home, and I can't help but want to relax and enjoy a moment of quiet time. It is very suitable for gathering with friends or enjoying delicious food alone!
环境优美,服务优质,菜的品质非常好,味道鲜美!下次还要来
November / Work pace finally slowed down A few more pages of gentle blank space appeared on the calendar So, we brought the kids to Quanzhou again! 👏🏻 An ancient city that always brings new surprises no matter how many times you visit This time, we decided to meet in a different way In the themed princess room at the Quanzhou Binhai Crowne Plaza Hotel 🩷 🕌Room. Stay The moment we opened the door, my daughter exclaimed "Wow!" with sparkling eyes ✨ It was practically a fairytale world tailor-made for her! 🎠 A pink, dreamy bunk bed, a Hape dressing table, a three-story playhouse, a crib, a stroller, and other toys—it was no longer a cold, impersonal hotel room, but a mini-kingdom all her own. The little cuddly one who used to want to be cuddled everywhere was now completely immersed in her own world, having a blast! She's practically forgotten about being a mom in Thailand! The room also hides little "dress-up" surprises! A whole closet full of costumes, including a Snow White dress, a magic wand, and Quanzhou-style hair ornaments. Let your child experience the fun of dress-up without leaving the room! 🎨Play/The hotel's 6th floor has a gym, a swimming pool, and a spacious children's playground with a wide variety of toys: building blocks, picture books, dolls, wooden toys, and various educational toys. The kids didn't want to leave! 🍴Food/Our partner and I both agreed that the hotel's food was excellent. Dinner at Cai Feng Lou was fantastic! The steamed crab with garlic and vermicelli, the pork soup with golden thread lotus root, the crispy roast pigeon, and the Minnan-style oyster omelet were all delicious!!! The hotel breakfast was comprehensive, including Quanzhou's signature noodle soup—a truly authentic Minnan breakfast! 🚏 Conveniently located near attractions and transportation. Popular ancient streets and urban areas are all within a 15-minute drive (Bell Tower, West Street, Kaiyuan Temple, West Lake Park, etc.). Places like Quanzhou Shaolin Temple, Qingyuan Mountain, the Maritime Museum, the Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, and the Science and Technology Museum are all within a 20-minute drive. We finally experienced a truly relaxing family trip. This city has a long story to tell, and we're already looking forward to our next delightful encounter! ✌🏻
I chose this place for dinner with my family and they praised me all night! Caifenglou at the InterContinental Zhengzhou Dennis Plaza is perfect for family dinners! The elegant, modern Chinese style incorporates traditional cultural elements like the phoenix and feathers. The private rooms are incredibly private, allowing families to chat and laugh undisturbed. 🦞The seafood available only during the opening season is incredibly fresh! Every dish was amazing! Drunken prawns with aged Huadiao wine, pan-fried Boston lobster cakes, steamed swimming crab with horseshoe mushrooms, and razor clams baked with Maotai golden garlic vermicelli sauce...every dish was incredibly fresh! The meat was sweet and plump, the crab roe was rich, and the shrimp was tender and chewy! The ambiance and service were both very pleasant. The staff provided a detailed introduction to each dish, demonstrating the fresh ingredients and meticulous preparation. I'll definitely be back for my next family gathering! #InterContinental Zhengzhou Dennis Plaza #Caifenglou Chinese Restaurant #Caifenglou Autumn Cuisine #Local Cuisine #OpenSeason
