The food is very light but delicious to my taste. The lavender black tea latte is also very suitable for me to drink hot. The weather is good and I can laze here with my good friends all afternoon. It is very comfortable. The two owners explained the menu very meticulously (I guess Some people don’t like it or don’t understand it well, so they will give you a gentle reminder). The cat inside is also very cute and can walk freely.

First, I need to point out a grammatical error [laughing and crying]. The "渚" in "WILDPOND" means a small piece of land in water, an unformed island. Understanding it as "POND" in English is inaccurate. This is off-topic. 👉Besides the established coffee shop "Jian" next to Zhuhai City Hall, the newly opened #野渚# has attracted many internet celebrities. Originally, this was a watercolor training class, and next to it was a Wild West bar, but the pandemic has completely changed the owners. 👉The most attractive thing is indeed the large row of bookshelves inside, which gives it the air of an internet-famous bookstore. The other place is packed with friendly cats. I even saw the shop owner adopt "Pirate," a one-eyed kitten from a veterinary clinic I previously wrote about. It seems the shop takes good care of them; they're chubby and carefree. 👉 I ordered the "Americano," which was a bit sour. They say they use beans from Africa, which wasn't to my taste. The "Sea Salt Cheesecake" was too salty, overpowering the sweetness of the cheese dessert. The PUKKA "Turmeric Green Tea" comes in a bag, and at 35 RMB per cup, it's not a great value. On Taobao, PUKKA sells a box of 20 teaspoons for 40 RMB, which works out to 2 RMB per tea! If you weren't going for the internet-famous atmosphere and the check-in, there's really no need to order this one, even though I know the shop has to pay for staff and rent... In summary: You can check in for the cats and books, but you don't need to become a regular customer (personal opinion).

🏠I met up with my bestie this weekend to read and study at a hidden coffee and book bar. If you're tired of the crowds at popular online cafes, this off-the-beaten-path cafe is a great alternative. 💯WILD 野︱渚 POND: A hidden gem that many locals don't know about, perhaps because of its unusual name. This fusion space offers coffee, light meals, a book bar, music, and even cat-friendly entertainment. It combines comfort and elegance, creating a social and stylish atmosphere. 💙 Let's talk about the ambiance first: 🖼 The exterior is simple and unpretentious, but inside, a world of its own unfolds. The first thing that catches your eye is the vast, tall wall of books. Don't mistake it for a decoration; it's filled with real books, primarily in foreign languages, with a few Chinese titles. There's also a magazine rack nearby. The owner can climb a ladder to help customers get books from higher up if needed. 🎥 The owner has a large collection of vinyl records, and guests can request any they like. The Christmas decor is thoughtful and romantic. 🏙 There aren't many seats, but three are by the floor-to-ceiling windows. The location is perfect for simply catching up on the busy traffic outside, even if you're bored. The long table at the back is perfect for groups of four or more, or those with laptops. 🎀Half of the second-floor loft is dedicated to a coffee shop, perfect for a casual chat with friends or couples. 🐱The main attraction is the owner's numerous cats, making it feel like a cat cafe. They'll lazily sleep, run around your feet, or quietly eat... A favorite pastime for guests here is petting the cats. 🍽Food: They specialize in coffee drinks and light meals. ☕️We chose DIRTY for coffee: Even without the expensive espresso machine, we still felt the barista's dedication. 🍶For coffee lovers, you can choose alcoholic drinks or hot tea. We ordered a pot of hot tea, which was truly delightful on a cold winter day. We also had a great view from our seats as the staff prepared the tea. 🥧Basque Cheesecake: We ordered a cake to go with our coffee and tea for afternoon tea, and it was surprisingly perfect for my taste. 🎂The shop doesn't have a wide selection of cakes and light meals, and many are only available on the day of your visit. 💜As for the service: 💁The staff were incredibly nice.
