The welcome was very pleasant, and the homemade, hearty cuisine was served with a smile. It&#39;s good value for money. Our lunch stop between Bordeaux and Chinon was much better than at a motorway service station!

L&rsquo;accueil fut tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able et la cuisine, maison et copieuse est servie avec le sourire.C&rsquo;est un bon rapport qualit&eacute; prix. Notre d&eacute;jeuner &eacute;tape entre Bordeaux et Chinon &eacute;tait bien meilleur que sur une aire d&rsquo;autoroute !

Accueil tr&egrave;s sympathique et carte sobre. Repas simple mais tr&egrave;s agr&eacute;able. A faire uniquement le midi. Pain tr&egrave;s bon et facture tr&egrave;s raisonnable.

The menu was very reasonably priced, the food beautifully cooked and presented. The service was courteous and efficient and the ambience very conducive to a relaxing lunch. We are regular visitors to Angoul&ecirc;me and we will definitely return. Highly recommended.

The food was fantastic, we had the le Carte menu, but looking at other diners it all looked fantastic.  The service was good. Will return soon.
