A beautiful place with beautiful staff, amazing food and first class service. It was my daughter's 40th birthday so we wanted something a little special and oh my, did they deliver. What a perfect evening.

How soon can we go bacķ.....after much searching around La Roque Gageac, i went a bit further on to Beynac, drawn to the lovely interior and nicely dressed tables. It was for my 72nd Birthday, and a couple of friends joined us, they were equally impressed.A good choice of set Menus at a price to suit all.The food was really good, service very quick, presentation quick...the Pork Chop was enormous, and i tasted a piece, very tender. When desserts arrived mine came with a big firework and everyone singing " Happy Birthday", the Restaurant was full and a lovely atmosphere...memorable evening..Thank you all...
What a fabulous place in the heart of the Dordogne. Pure class. Food, service and ambience was everything we hoped for. Take a bow La Petite Tonnelle, take a bow.
Nine of us went for a 50th birthday lunch. We ordered from different sections of the menu but they dealt with it smoothly. The food was excellent. We had ordered a birthday gateau. It was freshly made by their chef that morning, and arrived at our table with an indoor firework and beautifully decorated - and 3 staff sang happy birthday. A great meal made memorable by the food, the service and the ambience.
Fabulous meal. It's a very traditional restaurant serving the classics of the region. We had the 3 course set menu which was all lovely. For starters mushroom tart, followed by duck and then walnut cake. Other options were duck salad, Smoked salmon and creme brulee. Would highly recommend this place. Approx £35 per person inc wine.
