Very pleasant experience, waiters that are pleasant and happy to interact, a food menu concised and diversed and finally, tasty buds satisfied.
We had high hopes for Casa Gaia, but our experience was just OK. The grilled octopus was excellent, but scant for 18 euros. The hummus was good and looked colorful and appetizing. The tomatoes in the tomato/eggplant/ricotta salad were mushy and the salad overall was underseasoned and a little wet. The tuna was good and the tomato risotto that came with it was excellent. We went on a Sunday afternoon and though it wasn't busy when we got there, the service was very slow. We weren't in a huge rush, so that was OK. We just wish we could have raved about the food.
Good foot, good service, good ambience.
Delighted to have passed this establishment during a walk and to have been able to have lunch there. Homemade and seasonal cuisine with local products
