La Cabane

It was lovely to walk to this charming, simple restaurant, and find excellent food at reasonable "bistro" prices, although Grand Cru wines and Charolais beef available if you want a treat?! We had requested an outside table, but unavailable when we arrived - thankfully the weather was fine and open-air interior was good. Table service was good, although a little more help with understanding the blackboard menu, that was placed some way from the table, would have made it easier to choose. With Covid restrictions, they are doing a good job, and would certainly return.

Summer evening in a little park in Chassangne. Good food. Good choice of drinks. We were back there after 5 years and were a little afraid of disappointments because we had high expectations. Everything lived up to our expectations.

The food was ok-ish but the fact that the restaurant doesn’t have a restroom and asks guests to use one and only public toilet in the park is not acceptable. The service was slow and not very accommodating.

We come to La Cabane every time we're in Burgundy. The atmosphere is friendly and it's a great place to be with children or teenagers. Everything is delicious.

Arrived by bike in a stopover. Great menu with excellent value for money. Very pleasant staff. A small handle on the door would be perfect to keep it closed in cold weather :)
