Le Bellevue

After a busy day of touring châteaus, it was wonderful to unwind at this restaurant which offers beautiful views of the Cher River and an ancient bridge. We enjoyed a lovely repast — melt in your mouth lamb, tarte Tatin and Saumur wine. Service was most attentive and we look forward to a return visit soon!

This was a good restaurant right on the river Cher, we ate outside and had a very good time. The food was good, too. I would recommend it for others too.

We were delighted to return to the Bellevue after a long break. The prices are reasonable, subject to The Fork discount on the menu. We were pleased with the food, the service, and the peaceful atmosphere. The view of the bridge and the beach are an added bonus. We will gladly return.
