Just stopped by for a quiet afternoon. The Ippuku-ume set was nice, matcha was good and the wagashi wasn't too sweet, which I prefer. The place has a calm, modern feel. Picked up a couple of their cute stickers on the way out.

The lunch set is a solid deal. I went for the chirashi bowl — the fish was fresh, and they didn't skimp on the variety. It came with all those little side dishes too, so I left feeling pretty satisfied. A good, straightforward meal.

Family friendly spot. The kids loved the all-you-can-eat naan, kept asking for more. I tried the spicy curry, it had a nice kick. My wife's mild one was creamy. Good for different tastes.

I had a wonderful time at Setsugekka! The atmosphere is stylish and modern, making it perfect for special occasions. The service was attentive, and the staff provided great explanations about the dishes, enhancing the overall dining experience.

Location is a major plus, right at the foot of Mount Kinka. The Japanese garden is very well kept. Having lunch overlooking it was quite peaceful. Good spot for a quiet business meeting.

Loved the old wooden building. Felt like stepping into a quiet, hidden spot in the middle of the city. The setting really made the meal feel more personal.

Hida Beef Bento was decent. Beef quality was okay for the price, and the portion was satisfying. It's a solid, no-fuss lunch option near the station. Got in and out quickly.

Loved watching the chef work at the counter. The precision with each cut was really something. Made my first omakase feel special.

The owner cooks everything himself. You can see him working in the open kitchen, really focused on each dish. That’s the best part about this place.

A simple soba spot in Shirakawago. The handmade noodles were fresh and really hit the spot after walking around all morning. I got the set with the flavored rice, which was a nice addition. The place itself is very cozy and rustic, with wooden beams and a quiet vibe.

The Hida beef burger is the only thing I come for. They only make a few each day. The patty is incredibly rich and juicy. The crunchy cheese on top is a nice touch, gives it a good texture.

Nice local spot. Staff remembered I liked natto and brought some out. That was a thoughtful touch. The Gujo beer on tap is solid, good with the food. A comfortable place to unwind after work.

The grated yam here is something else. It's got this unique, slimy texture that's surprisingly comforting. A real local specialty. The rest of the menu is solid, but that yam dish is the one that sticks with you.

The roast beef here is absolutely delicious, especially when paired with their recommended sauces. A must-try for meat lovers!

Booked ahead and so glad we did - it was packed! The vibe was perfect for our girls' night, buzzing but we could still hear each other. 😊 Got a nice corner table.

Convenient spot near the morning market. Their set menu had a nice wine pairing option that worked well with the courses.

A nice, quiet cafe away from the main streets. I really appreciated how comfortable the chairs were, and the service was friendly without being overbearing. The vegan curry was tasty and filling. It's a good spot when you want a peaceful meal.

Been coming here for years, and the buckwheat crepes are always spot on. Thin, crispy, just the right texture. That local flour makes a difference. Never had a bad one.

I celebrated my birthday here, and it was a wonderful experience! The restaurant is reserved for one group during lunch, which made it a relaxing environment. The open kitchen and the delicious French food made it a memorable occasion.
