#LocalsTakeYouTravel ✨Food Exploration Star Online ✨ 💥Bova's Bakery 📍134 Salem St, Boston, MA 02113 🕙Open 24 hours 🖼 A 24-hour bakery located in the North End, opened in 1926, and is also a nearly 100-year-old bakery. From Italian pizza, sandwiches, cream rolls, cakes, to puffs, fruit tarts, to meet all sweet and salty taste buds. It was Boston's favorite Italian dessert shop before. Although the two most popular Italian dessert shops here are Mike's Pastry and Modern Pastry, Bova is always YYDS in my heart! Their Cannoli tastes great, and the cream in the middle tastes more mellow and delicate, and not too sweet. Pistachio, coffee and original flavors are recommended. Fruit tarts are also one of the desserts that must be checked in. They are paired with full fruits, strawberries, blueberries, kiwis and yellow peaches, and are delicious and not greasy. Boston cream donuts are also their signature. But this time when I went back to Boston to check in again, I felt that the taste seemed not as good as before. I discussed this issue with my friends, and it seemed that I found another chicken soup-style answer for it. It was probably because the friends who ate desserts together had changed, and the mood when eating desserts had also changed. When I lived in Boston before, I felt that this place was more like a home-style bakery and dessert shop, and I didn’t have too much expectations for it. However, when I changed my mentality to a tourist, my taste buds would naturally become more picky. There is no price mark when ordering at their place. The current price seems to have increased, $5 per piece, and cash is required for payment below $10.

After the concert, we felt a little hungry, so we went to Fork & Plough, a western restaurant, for lunch, which was like afternoon tea. We ordered a set meal, which was quite a good deal.

The grilled salmon here is the best grilled salmon in Greenville downtown. It was my first time eating Persian food here. It was basically sour and tasted a bit unique but I enjoyed it. The service here was really helpful.
