The drip coffee here is solid. They have a few interesting craft beers on tap too, which paired nicely with the relaxed vibe. The whole 3D printer and laser cutter setup is a cool twist, makes it feel like a workshop. A good spot for a casual afternoon drink.

The all-you-can-drink option is a good deal. I appreciated that they had a decent selection of non-alcoholic options too, like fresh juices and sparkling water. It made it easier to pace myself and stay hydrated during the meal.

The pale blue exterior caught my eye first. Inside, the stained glass in the old-style building was lovely, especially with the afternoon light. They even had these delicate, patterned cups for the coffee. A really nice detail.

This cafe is in a lovely old Japanese house. The tatami room overlooking the courtyard is so peaceful. I had a simple matcha and a dorayaki there—it was just right for a quiet afternoon. The wooden tables are unique. A nice spot to slow down.

The Hida beef steak. That's the one. It just melts, no effort at all. Some of the best beef I've had.

The soy-based ramen was tasty, and they have vegan/halal options. Good for different diets.

Stumbled upon this place near Shirakabe Dozo-gai. The grilled eel bowl was the real star – perfectly crispy skin and just the right amount of sauce. A nice little find after walking around.

Portions are generous for the price. The medium size was plenty, and the dashi broth at the end was a nice, simple finish.

The Hida beef in the sukiyaki was so tender, you could tell it was fresh and high-quality. The broth was light, not too heavy, which I really appreciated. A very cozy, family-run spot.

The outdoor onsen was the highlight. Sitting in the hot water with snowflakes landing on your shoulders... just incredibly peaceful. The private bath was nice for a change of pace too.
