开心酒丸子Hofn, the third largest city in Iceland, is a fishing port. Pakkhus Restaurant, local specialties by the fishing port, superb!
The restaurant is located next to the fishing port pier, with fishing boats right outside. The famous seafood here is cod and langoustine. The most surprising thing is that the dishes taste super good.
When the lobster soup was served, I could smell the fragrance from a long distance. The smoked mackerel appetizer is a bit like Chaozhou salted fish, served with pancakes, salty and delicious.
The two of us ordered three main dishes: fresh cod caught that day, crayfish braised in milk sauce, and grilled crayfish. The cod was cooked to perfection and tasted as tender and smooth as southern tofu. Grilled crayfish, without any seasoning, perfectly showed the deliciousness of the crayfish. Crayfish braised in milk sauce, the soup is delicious and the shrimp meat is tasty. Iceland's local beer tastes very special, with a chocolate flavor, and is quite delicious.
Impressive small town food.

Iceland Travel🇮🇸🇮🇸🇮🇸 | Must-visit Internet celebrity restaurant 🦞🦞🦞Pakkhus Restaurant Everyone drove hundreds of miles to Hofn just to eat lobsters. After tasting all the way, Hofn's lobsters are the best quality. Hofn is a fishing port town in southeastern Iceland. Pakkhus is the most famous seafood restaurant in the town, built in 1932. Environment🍾: Adjacent to the port, the restaurant is a Nordic wooden shed with two floors. There are black and white ancient photos on the wall, and Viking dolls on the table, which is very old. Service🛎: Nordic warm service, the waiter has a British accent, and communication is barrier-free. Recommended menu📜: 1. Lobster tail: The lobster here is not what we call lobster, but Arctic lobster. There are 2 flavors to choose from for the lobster meal. I felt that the in cream method was a bit greasy, so I didn't choose it. 2. Lobster soup: The soup is thick and a little milky, with a unique seafood flavor, which is very suitable for me who grew up by the sea in the south. Dip the bread in the soup before eating, this combination is perfect. 3. Salmon: This is the best sauce I have eaten all the way in Iceland. The quality of salmon is beyond reproach, but I am a Japanese food lover, and this top-quality salmon sashimi should be very good. 4. Cod: The quality of cod is beyond reproach. Cod is the best fish in Iceland, but I think Icelanders' cooking skills are a bit of a waste of ingredients. 5. Special recommendation: There are small potatoes in each main course. Don't ignore it. The taste is absolutely unique in Iceland. Other details ➡️ Address: Krosseyjarvegi 3 | by the harbour, Hofn 780, Iceland ➡️ Business hours: 12:00-21:00 ➡️ Price per person: About 500 RMB. Hofn, located in the east of Iceland, is a lobster town. Many people come here just to have a lobster dinner, and we are no exception. When the sun sets, the fishermen will return to the port with boats full of lobsters, and we can start to enjoy the lobster dinner. There are many lobster restaurants in the town. If you want to know which one is the oldest, you can judge from the year marked on the house. We chose PAKKHUS, a lobster restaurant in 1932. There is also a mini takeaway cart at the door to deliver the delicious food to every household. Judging by the standards of seafood experts, the freshness here can also be eaten in China, but the cooking method is unsurpassed. We ordered two flavors of lobster, charcoal grilled and milk cheese, each with its own wonderful taste. One is fresh and original, and the other is cheese and milk. We ate two large plates of lobsters without any soup left. This is the best dinner of the entire trip to Iceland.
