摆渡修行This British-style restaurant is not big. Fortunately, I made an appointment in advance. It was full at around 11 o'clock.
- Ploughmans Breakfast: hot salty scones, covered with baked and slightly crispy cheese, and the bread is soft and glutinous with oil and vanilla. It tastes better than expected. This breakfast also contains 3 flavors of cheddar cheese: the truffle version has the strongest taste, a little salty, and I like it very much. The flavor of the red wine version will slowly overflow. The other one is served with fig jam, and I almost eat it all.
- Süße Frühstück: sweet scones, also hot. The texture is soft, with cream jam, and two of them are a bit full. I guess there is a lot of butter.
- Lemon pie: I would rather call it cheesecake. It is not sour, but mainly sweet. The cheese layer is thicker, but fortunately it is not greasy. Both of them like it very much.
- Sponge Cake: When I was a kid, I loved cream cakes. Sponge cakes are coated with thick cream, which is simple but irresistible. This one is the cream I always want, with jam, and it has all the sweet and sour milk flavors. But the sponge cake is a bit dry, probably because it has been stored for some time.
- Darjeeling: Well, the disappointment in this breakfast is the pot of black tea, which tastes a bit light, probably because the amount of tea leaves and water is not well matched. This big pot of tea is really big... The two of them finished their meal but didn't finish it.
The store also has afternoon tea sets. Eating desserts and drinking tea elegantly, chatting quietly, the girls' afternoon passed so quickly.
