Osteria del Pescatore

Excellent food: all the fish dishes we ordered were fresh and tasty, very well cooked. Real pesto so you can go ahead and try the typical Pesto alla Genovese. The restaurant is situated by the sea in a calm area. We haven’t regretted to stopped there for a quick lunch.

This restaurant is as described . Excellent location, but only if you sit on the few tables directly alone right next to the sea .Food is plentiful and excellent quality with reasonable service .Only negative for us was they charge for cover and also tap ordinary water that costs them nothing.

To begin with the service was quite brusque, waiter was not confident. His colleague who opened the wine spilt some as he poured it, these observations may sound petty but one wants to relax in a restaurant. On the plus side both fish dishes were excellent and it’s the food that’s important.

Perfect place to stop for lunch next to the sea, on our route to the south of France. Very east access on/off the motorway and a couple of petrol stations to refill.

Very nice location at the sea. Service is friendly and quick. We had Tunasteak, pasta with lobster and squid from bbq. Very nice! Oh, and for starters Calamari friti. Great taste! Worth a visit!
