The restaurant sits within a beautifully preserved 17th-century residence in Matino’s historic center, offering an enchanting, historically evocative ambiance.For our appetizer, we shared the Entrée della Locanda, a generous selection featuring crispy fried bites, local cured meats, and artisanal cheeses. For the main course, we opted for Salento-style skewers and a tender slice of horse steak, both expertly grilled to perfection. As a side, we enjoyed a portion of crisp fries.Our meal was accompanied by natural water and a bottle of the house red wine, which complemented the flavors. Every detail, from the warm hospitality to the authentic local cuisine, made for an unforgettable dining experience

Beautifil original place, really worthy, the appetizers (those for minimum 2 persons) are really good and generous, local wine is cheap and really nice. We waited a bit for the service but was worth it.

Beautiful location, very characteristic and in full Salento style. Excellent quality food with local products and traditional dishes. The house wine is also very good. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended!
