TRATTORIA URBANA "GNOCK&ROLL"

The food was creative, inventive, exceptionally and beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The eggplant and smoked parmesan appetizer is a must as is their Via Emilia -- gnocchi frito and culaccia as never before experienced. Please leave room for their zuppa inglese as it is superb. My husband and our friend are car enthusiasts and absolutely loved the ambience and the nod to the Motor Valley. I loved the contemporary feel and appreciated the small touches -- flowers in Modena's colors of blue and yellow, their personalized placemats and dishes -- and the graciousness of the host and server. We live a mile away from Trattoria Urbana and this will become our go-to restaurant.

Fried mushrooms, calzagatti with yogurt sauce, fried gnocco and crescentine accompanied by a tray of mixed cold cuts and finally tenerina with mascarpone, all excellent. The borlenghi, not up to expectations. The central part, where there is the maximum seasoning, was soaked in oil, so much so that when you lifted the bite it dripped. We left it on the plate. Also, thicker than those usually eaten. Nice place, there were not many people (we went on a Wednesday evening) not noisy and fast service. Overall we had a good time

Excellent Emilian cuisine in a modern setting enriched with interesting vintage details. Authentic, high-quality Emilian cuisine. Generous portions for our taste buds. The wine selection is also excellent. Highly recommended.

Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff. The dishes we had were all delicious, tigelle, fried gnocco, fried Modenese style and two first courses: tagliatelle with ham and peas, tortellini in parmesan cream (the latter were exceptional).

Very nice place, with an outdoor area. We went there for lunch and it was a casual but pleasant discovery. Very good food, nice environment, parking nearby.
