Antica Taverna di Navelli

By far the best restaurant we have eaten at in Abruzzo. In spite of limited English/Italian between us, we were warmly welcomed and found our way round the menu. The menu is varied and interesting with a strong emphasis on truffle and saffron. The latter was a first for us and a revelation of flavour. Additionally, they accommodated gluten free requirements with very flavoursome pasta. Everything was well prepared and presented.Very impressed with the small mark up on wine - we had recently bought from the vineyard.

Very good local food. Good service, nice family-run staff. Prices are okay and they offer an amazing local wine list. Parking on site.
