I had a super simple breakfast. The bread was delicious, walnut bread with Italian ham. The eggs were raw, which I was a little uncomfortable with.
From the moment we walked in we were pampered by Octavio. The service was absolutely impeccable. Chef Donato Ascani's creations are works of art that delight both the palate and the eyes. If you are into fine dining, you cannot miss this restaurant in Venice. Bravissimo!
The restaurant is small, seats perhaps 14 people or so. There's a view of the garden. The food is superb, and so is the service. A strong 2 star. The only problem with the food is that there was too much of it. The chef obviously wants to share his talent, but this ultimately mars the experience. We chose the smaller tasting menu, but it is preceded by two large amuse bouche, each with multiple components. By the time the menu starts, you've had 8 or 10 individual amuse portions, quite wonderful all, but they are a tasting menu in themself.
The food and service were outstanding; we highly recommend this dining experience and it was a highlight of our Venice trip.
Exceptional cuisine, worth a special journey should be the description for Glam. Beautiful produce put together with great skill & artistry served by a wonderful & knowledgeable front of house team. Truly a meal to savour & remember for our anniversary
