Their sandwiches are pretty good, I especially like the arugula sandwich. I chose the bread from Bartlett, and ordered a bottle of juice, which cost about $67 a glass.

Such a warm cosy place. Food was so delicious and staff were super friendly and welcoming. Will be back!

The seafood here is basically fried. The fried fish fillet and fried squid taste good, the salmon meat is well cooked, and I ordered a lobster, which had a lot of meat, but the taste was a bit bland, which was a waste of ingredients.

The service was amazing as well, with staff being polite, funny and charismatic! 
I highly recommend this restaurant, especially for a more intimate evening!

Japanese Grandma&#39;s Cafe is a good Japanese restaurant in Hanapepe and even on Kauai. It is famous for its special Japanese cuisine and friendly service.
The restaurant&#39;s menu covers traditional Japanese cuisine such as sushi, ramen and tempura. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, and it is popular with locals and tourists.
You need to make an appointment in advance before coming. If there are few people, you can try your luck and ask the front desk if you can walk-in for dinner.
The fried pork cutlet and fried tofu ordered are delicious. The dining environment is quite good. It is not indoors, but in a place similar to a small garden, and there are live performances by resident singers.

I stayed in Hawaii for a while and I particularly like this kind of small shop. Steak or shrimp with rice is economical and affordable, and it is filling and not as uncomfortable as eating a hamburger. After all, rice is our staple food.
