This place is a gem in Budapest! The food was authentic and tasty, and the live music created a wonderful ambiance. Highly recommend trying the goulash and gypsy steak.

The spicy fish here is legit. Probably the best I've had in Europe, honestly. They don't hold back on the heat, so if you're not used to real Sichuan spice, ask them to tone it down. Staff speaks Mandarin, which made ordering a lot easier. I'd come back just for that dish again.

The stuffed cabbage was delicious, and they gave us plenty of bread with it. The sponge cake for dessert was just right, not overly sweet.

I had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The flavors of the dishes were bold and comforting, reminiscent of my favorite Chinese spots.

The staff member Vivien was so attentive. She knew the menu well and was very thoughtful about our special day.

The pumpkin bing was crispy on the outside, soft inside. Added cheese and sausage, made it better. Portion size is decent for what you pay.

Pizza was solid, and the street view from outside seating made it better. Service took a minute to warm up though.

The 55cm pizza is genuinely massive, and the crust came out just right—no soggy middle. We went with the family and it wasn't too loud, which I appreciated.

Quick self-service setup, efficient. Food came out fast and tasted good. Sat outside, street was lively. Simple but effective for a quick lunch.

The hot chocolate here is the real deal—comes with separate bits so you mix it yourself. Pistachio ice cream was a nice bonus. Place is small but cozy.

I was thoroughly impressed by the attentive and kind service throughout the evening. The staff's professionalism and warmth made our visit truly memorable.

The service here is exceptional, with attentive staff who genuinely care about their customers. It's a great place to enjoy a meal and feel welcomed.

Stopped by for a quick dinner, place has that real Greek vibe, felt like a mini getaway. Got the grilled octopus, pretty fresh and tasty. Staff spoke a few languages, which helped. Only thing, took a while to clear the empty plates. Not a big deal though.

Falafel pita was solid—fresh, warm, decent crunch. Menu’s got a bunch of stuff, kinda hard to pick. Service was chill, no complaints there. Place is small though, felt a bit cramped. Fine for a quick bite if you’re around.

Been coming here for years and the waffles are still just as light and crispy. Order at one window, pick up at the other. No seating, but for a quick bite it works.

The espresso martini here is seriously good—smooth, not too sweet, just right. Marci and the guys behind the bar were super chill, made the whole thing feel easy. Place had a nice buzz to it too. Only thing, it got a bit crowded later on, but that’s probably a good sign.

The Sunday brunch was impressive, featuring a wide selection of appetizers and desserts that catered to all tastes. The quality of the food was outstanding, making it a great value for the price.

The tapas here are really good, especially the shrimp in garlic chili oil and the sirloin. Service was attentive without hovering. Only thing is it gets a bit crowded, so the noise level went up as the evening went on. Still, a comfortable spot to sit and take your time. I’d go back for those shrimp alone.

The cheesy dumplings were solid and the portion size honestly surprised me for what we paid. Service was fine, nothing fancy, but I left full without feeling ripped off.

The goose pâté and beef tartare with bone marrow were the standouts — plating was really nice too. Perch and breaded veal trotter were solid, though the veal could’ve used a bit more seasoning. I liked the room, felt comfortable without being stuffy. Decent value for what you get, especially in this area.

The pho is decent for what you pay—broth’s clean, noodles taste fresh. Just wish the portions were more consistent. Seating’s cramped at lunch rush.

Cozy spot, no doubt. I went for the pork and the portion was huge—could've easily fed two. Paired it with a glass of local red, which worked better than I expected. Nothing fancy, just honest cooking. Maybe not the place for a refined wine list, but it did the job.

Steak was spot on again, cheesecake still as good as the first time I had it. Been coming here for a while and that consistency keeps me coming back.

The food was tasty and the portions felt right for the price. I liked that the staff left us alone until we needed them. Nice quiet spot not far from the castle.

The steak itself was cooked nicely, and those croquettes had real flavor. But six tiny ones and a modest slice of beef for that price? Felt a bit steep. I paired it with a glass of red, which helped. Service was friendly enough, no complaints there. Just wish the plate had been a little more generous.

The red pepper chicken soup was the standout. Langos with sausage on the side worked well too. Portions are generous, easily enough for two. Service was fine, nothing to complain about. Place was busy but we got a table right away. Reasonable for what you get. Would stop by again if in the area.

The goulash soup was solid, hearty and full of flavor. Chicken paprikash was a nice twist on the classic. Dreher beer went well with it. Service was polite, nothing to complain about.

The view by the Danube is the whole reason to come here. Fish soup was solid, the Hungarian classics done right. Service friendly but a bit slow, we waited a while between courses. Portions are decent for the price, not huge but fair. I'd sit outside again just for the river view, even if the food wasn't the highlight.

Came for the tapas and the grilled octopus really stood out. Eggplant fries were good too. Staff let us bring our dog in, which I appreciated. Seats were comfortable enough to stay a while. Only thing is it got a bit noisy later, but that's on us for staying so long.
