We have used this carvery many times and the service was good. I must say that the place nees a make over. I wish to mention that Danielle was again working hard. She looks for work to be done and was doing it even in another area. She def needs a mention

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday roast beef is always spot on. Tender, melts in the mouth, with those seasonal veg. It's the one thing I know I can count on. Lovely spot for it too.

The private room is stunning, and the team helped us pick a wine list that really worked with our menu. A great spot for a special gathering.

First time trying this place. The fish cakes with pineapple salsa were a real surprise - fresh and light, not heavy at all. Generous portion too. Will be back for those!

Always grab their takeaway lunch. The food is consistently well-prepared and the service is quick. It's my reliable spot when I just need something good without the fuss.

Got the free doughballs deal on their app. They were warm and garlicky, a nice start. The app's worth downloading just for that, helps keep the bill down.

Been coming here for years, and the place is always spotless. It's that clean, modern look that still feels cosy. Makes a difference when you're a regular.

Decent gluten-free menu, more variety than most places. Had the pasta and it was fine. Service was efficient, got me in and out for a lunch meeting. Good option if you need GF in the area.

The team here really makes the place. Busy Saturday night, but our server was on it—knew the specials, kept things moving without feeling rushed. That kind of attentive service makes a big difference.

The Makhani and Murgh Masala were both tasty. I liked that it's BYOB, easy to grab a drink from the shops nearby. Just a heads up, there are some roadworks around at the moment which made getting there a bit of a faff.

Convenient canoe parking right by the river was a nice touch. The whole riverside setting just felt so relaxed and peaceful while we ate.

Been meaning to try this place for ages. Had lunch in the garden, which was lovely. The fish and chips were spot on - crispy batter, proper chunky chips. Staff were friendly, no rush. A bit pricier than the chippy down the road, but you get what you pay for.

The food was solid and cocktails were decent. But honestly, the portions felt a bit small for the price. I left still feeling a bit peckish.

Quick lunch spot. Breakfast burrito was tasty, good portion. Staff friendly, got my order out fast. Nice for a quick bite.

Lively spot with a dart board and pool table. The live band last Friday was a nice surprise!

Popped in for an early lunch again. The coffee is always spot on, and the staff remember my usual order. Just feels good to support a local spot like this.

Wandered in for a late lunch. The gluten-free menu was huge, which is a relief. Staff knew their stuff when I asked about cross-contamination. Had the fish and chips, felt normal for once.

Lovely old-school pub feel. They’ve got a good range of ales on tap. My dog was very welcome, which is a nice touch. The fish and chips were decent, though the chips could have been a bit crisper.

Lovely spot by the river for a drink. Sat outside in the sun. My cocktail was nice, but honestly, a bit steep for the size of the glass. Felt a little short-changed on the portion there.

Been coming here for years, and the team always remembers you. That friendly welcome never changes, makes it feel like your local spot. Even during the pandemic, they were on it with the precautions, which I really appreciated. Just feels reliable.

Great spot for a post-walk meal after the valley. I really appreciated the fresh, crisp salad that came with my main. The greens tasted just-picked, which is so nice to see. A lovely, light option.

Kal was our waiter, really nice guy. Service was spot on, didn't feel rushed at all. He knew the menu well, gave us a straight answer on the specials. Makes a difference when the staff are like that.

The Guinness here is pretty good, probably the best I've had in Shifnal. A decent spot for a quiet pint, and the staff are friendly. It's nice that they allow dogs inside too.

The staff were so nice, even though we arrived just before closing! Made our late-night catch-up feel really welcoming.

Came for a birthday dinner. The staff were really good about checking for food allergies, which was appreciated. The vegetarian options were decent. A nice spot for that kind of thing.

Popped in without a reservation and they squeezed us in. The steak and ale pie was proper hearty, just what you want on a damp evening. Good pint to go with it. Menu's got plenty of choice, which is handy.

A proper dog-friendly spot! They've got a whole section for your pup, and the bar even had treats ready. My dog was in heaven, made our Sunday pint so much more relaxed.

Lovely quiet spot to unwind. The hot tub tucked behind the trees was private and perfect. Hearing the owls after dark was a really nice touch. Just what we needed.

The Reese's milkshake was so good, we ended up ordering a second one to share. It's the kind of thing you get when you're catching up with friends and just want something indulgent. Went perfectly with the burgers, obviously. A bit on the pricey side for a shake, but no regrets!

Lovely spot to sit outside on a sunny day. The view of the cathedral is so peaceful. Had a pot of tea and a scone, which was just right. Service was friendly and not rushed at all. A very comfortable place to pause for a bit.
