Great pub vibe. The red chicken curry was fantastic, and they had a really solid selection of beers to go with it.

Lovely, cosy spot. I had the homemade burger - the patty was so fresh and juicy, really good quality. Chips were crisp too. Just a nice, simple meal with fresh ingredients.

Stumbled in for a quick lunch. The cheese scone was fresh and warm, perfect for a fast bite. Soup was solid too. Got me in and out in under 20 minutes. Exactly what I needed.

The Sunday roast was spot on. Beef and lamb were both cooked just right, and the portions are generous.

Such a cosy spot, and they're dog-friendly! 🐶 The cocktails were a real highlight, definitely coming back to try the food.

The happy hour deal is a steal! Portions are decent, not huge, but honestly perfect for sharing with a friend. Everything came out super hot and tasted great. Just the spot for a casual catch-up.

We came for a family lunch. I really appreciated the chips - they were clearly freshly cut and fried, not the frozen kind. The portion was generous, too. The atmosphere was a bit loud for my taste, but the food quality made up for it.

The pistachio ice cream was the standout for me. It had these tiny, crunchy bits of real nuts throughout, which gave it such a nice texture. The flavour was really rich and natural, not overly sweet at all. I'll definitely be back just for that one.

Found this spot in Amble. The food is seriously good, like top-tier restaurant quality. Got the oysters, and they serve them on painted shells you can take home. Neat little souvenir. A bit of a trek to get here, but the meal made it worthwhile.

The carvery was the star. The roast beef was perfectly pink and juicy, and the Yorkshire puddings were crisp and airy. Gravy was rich and hot. Just a lovely, comforting plate of food.

Tried their wine & dine menu last night. The food was gorgeous, especially the lamb. Felt like a proper cosy spot with the fireplace going. Price was decent for what we got. Might pop back.

Been coming here for years, and the Sunday roast is always spot on. The beef is consistently full of flavour, and the portions are generous.

Popped in for the Sunday carvery. The roast beef was spot on, really tender. Veg still had a bit of crunch to it, which was nice. The whole plate just looked and tasted proper.

Been coming here for years, and their scones are the reason. Always warm, just crumbly enough, and they never skimp on the jam and clotted cream. That's what keeps me coming back.

Stopped in for a quick breakfast. The full English was solid - eggs were runny just how I like them, and the sausages had a nice snap. Good spot if you’ve got a dog with you.

The bartender was so welcoming when we popped in for a drink! The cosy, rainy-day vibe was just right for a catch-up with my friend.

Been coming here for years. The scones are always spot on, even if they're a bit pricey.

Lovely spot for a quiet meal, the harbour views are gorgeous. The staff were really friendly and attentive, which made everything feel so relaxed. Just a note, some of the chairs by the window are a bit low for the tables, but it's a minor thing.

Popped in for some local cheeses. They had a lovely selection of jams and biscuits too. The real find was a small-batch cider from a nearby orchard – crisp and dry, perfect with the strong cheddar I picked up. A bit pricier than the supermarket, but you’re paying for quality.

The birthday breakfast was just right. The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the service was friendly without being overbearing.

The banana blossom 'fish' was a standout. They had a nice Pinot Gris that paired well with it, cut through the richness nicely. Good to see a place putting real thought into their vegan menu.

Grabbed takeaway for a group of us and it was spot on. Everything was fresh and the portions were huge, so we all got to try a bit of everything. Perfect for sharing with mates.

Been coming here for years, and the fish and chips are always spot on. The batter stays light and crispy every time.

Decent late lunch. The menu had good variety and everything tasted fresh. Service was fine, not rushed even near closing.

Lovely little spot in Amble. The warmth inside was just right on a chilly evening. It felt cosy and welcoming, like a proper escape. The food was fresh, but the atmosphere is what I'll remember.

Been coming here for years, the food is always spot on. Had the lamb chops last night, cooked just right. It's that kind of reliable quality that keeps us coming back.

Had the pizza here for a work dinner. It was solid, well-made. The service was prompt, which matters when you're on a tight schedule. Good spot for a business meal, though it's not cheap.

Had our wedding reception here. The food was the highlight for me - really appreciated how fresh and thoughtfully sourced the ingredients felt. Everything tasted clean and balanced. The communication beforehand was clear, which helped with our dietary preferences.
