TheForkUserThis was an authentic, relaxed restaurant located a little outside the hubbub of the old city, near Pamplona’d bull fighting ring. It was filled with an older, local crowd, and staff was very friendly. We had to use google translate for menu. Prices were reasonable and we were given good advice. We ate inside where tiles of the brands of famous bull fighting breeders decorated the wall. Outside on terrace is nice but be prepared for smoking diners! Highly recommend!!

TheForkUserSome of the best food we have had in Northern Spain. From the bread to the dessert it was all delicious. Our Family of four shared the grilled sole. Perfectly grilled and super fresh.

猫咪芝娃娃This is the cafe that appeared in Hemingway's "The Sun Also Rises". There were so many people patronizing it. I went there the day before the opening of the Running of the Bulls. Everyone liked to sit under the parasols in the square, drink cold drinks, chat and kill time.

Of course, you go to eat the food - which is faultless by the way and has been at Michelin standard for both occasions I have visited in the past 10 days - but the service cannot honestly be bettered. The waiters are attentive to an empty glass, a finished plate (and you will finish your plate) and a white wine that needs a little more chilling. They exceed what you would expect in every way. Most of all, I like the ambience at Remigio. It's a place with a touch of class, with proper table settings, crisp table cloths and wooden panelling around the walls. It's the right 'size' for a restaurant too - strange thing to say maybe - but there must be a perfect size for a restaurant and this is it! I think Remigio is well worth a visit, all the more so if you want the very highest quality of food and wine this region of Spain can offer.
