Bolenius Restaurant

The cuisine focuses on fresh local vegetables from the Netherlands, especially the fresh vegetables grown and picked in the restaurant's own Garden of Zuidas, which is right in the backyard of the restaurant. It is a good opportunity for vegetarians, but of course they also specially prepare foie gras and steak to cater to meat lovers. I, a senior meat eater, was also impressed by their carefully creative taste and presentation. The price is a bit expensive, but it will be a good experience for friends who want to try local Dutch dishes. The service is very good. The waiter will carefully explain the menu and every dish you order, and know how to enjoy it correctly. What I miss most is probably the bottle of German Riesling from 2013 that I ordered at that time, which tasted excellent.

This is a relatively high-end restaurant in Amsterdam. The food is good, the seats in the corridor are very comfortable, the bread is unexpectedly delicious, the white wine is a specialty, and the tableware used is very good.

My sister likes this place very much. Since she is a vegetarian, the food is very delicious even though it is vegetarian.

My wife and I visited Bolenuis for the first time this evening. The food was very creative and delicious. Good wine pairings, especially an unusual joining of a winter ale with the chocolate dessert, which turned out perfectly.Very professional and attentive staff. The chef has incredible skill in preparing vega dishes. Nice atmosphere. Good location. 9/10.

Wonderful experience at Bolenius with a tasting menu combining incredibly cooked tasty vegetables and surprising experiences with meat. And the wine pairing was simply perfect. Thanks for the unique experience !
