The food was excellent and reasonably priced.  Given its location, if the tables outside could have been slightly further apart, that would add to the overall ambience.

Here the food is amazing and the service is really friendly. They are always taking care about your tastes and questions. The place is really clean, maybe a bit simple, but the food is really a super nice experience 😜

The dinner was to introduce a friend to Syrian cuisine. Sham West was an excellent introduction.  My friend loved the food. He also commented on the ambience - that it was almost like being in the Middle East. Everything was fresh and flavourful.  Service was pleasant and efficient even if the restaurant was full. The only minus point was that the regular menu wasn&#39;t available. Only large Iftar set menus were available.  We were unable to finish our meals.  Fortunately the kind staff readily agreed to pack the rest for us.

Outstanding variety - The food in Maz Mez was amazing. Great variety of dishes with an excellent taste and this in a wonderful atmosphere. The personnel is lovely. It is a spacious restaurant, not crowded with loud tourists, but a calming and pleasant environment far from the madding crowd. I liked most the vegetable cold dishes. Delicious taste to each of these. Good price also in relation to the quality.

Eating at Sham has been a very, very pleasant experience.  The food is fresh, dishes are prepared at the moment and the contain an unexpected variety of vegetables, and herbs. Delicious sauces and flat bread accompany the courses, which are tasty and filling. The chef is very kind and tells you all about preparation and ingredients. A nice truly Syryan cuisine experience and a vegetarian paradise.
