The food was excellent, the wine was satisfying, the staff were friendly, especially the waiter, who provided excellent service, and the view was beautiful. The weather was great today, the food was delicious, and the portions were plentiful.

I arrived at the port on the Princess Cruise that day and took a boat to this charming town. It was cloudy and sunny at times. The sun was especially bright. I took a walk on the beach and ran to this famous restaurant to sit. The seats facing the sea were great. There were so many nice waiters and the food was not expensive. The lemon ginger tea I ordered helped me keep warm. It turns out that the South Island is so cold in early summer.

The absolute best thing about this restaurant was the delightful French waitress. Her service was attentive and she showed a real interest in her customers and their food choices. I chose two starters and one main course. The modern tempura and king prawns, and the chicken - both were delicious. A friend chose his choice of pork belly which unfortunately had no flavour and the red wine was almost non-existent with the meat. However, the outstanding service means I have to give 4 stars to be honest...if only the pork wasn't there.

This is really good. The French waiter is very enthusiastic, the service is very attentive, and the dishes are introduced enthusiastically. I chose two appetizers and a main course. Prawn tempura and chicken - both are delicious. My friend chose pork belly and red wine, which tasted good. I give 4 stars for the service here. It is worth coming.

The French restaurant is really good, the taste is very authentic and the price/performance ratio is good.
