This traditional restaurant located on the waterfront in the center of Bryggen is a Nordic pearl that I came across at lunch. The staff was very polite. They introduced the great value lobster lunch of the day. It was half the price of the nearby fish market that specializes in ripping off tourists. While waiting, I leisurely admired the pictures of the houseboats on the wall. The wooden furniture was simple and elegant. The models of the old ships were also precious. Half a grilled lobster with green leafy vegetables. The sweet lobster meat was placed on the bread. It was spread with butter, cheese and lemon juice. It was so delicious~

This museum is very interesting. If you don&rsquo;t go in to learn about its history, you would never have thought that this beautiful building contains a German pickled fish factory! Between 1350 and 1750, the buildings on the Bergen dock were used as German fishery trading bases. Currently, only the interior of this building has been well preserved. It was opened to the public after 1872. Through this building, you can have a deep understanding of the living conditions on the dock at that time, and you can also deeply appreciate the difficult living environment of the apprentices. In the building, for fire prevention, open flames are not allowed, even for food. It is even more cold to sleep in winter, so the houses are very dark and cold. After the visit, I couldn&rsquo;t help but admire those apprentices, who had strong perseverance and courage to leave their hometowns and secretly participate in the pickling of fish in such a difficult environment.
📌The entrance to the museum is inside the souvenir shop. First enter the shop to buy tickets, and then follow the guide to visit. The whole process is explained in English in detail, and there are many opportunities to ask questions.

The colorful wooden boathouses form such a large complex. As the oldest dock in Bergen, it retains the style of medieval streets. Walking through it, imagine the prosperous scene of the old fish market.
From the Hanseatic Museum to the west, through a series of wooden buildings, you can reach the Bryggens Museum. Don&#39;t miss the Mariakirken Church next to it. It is the most famous medieval Romanesque church in Norway! If you have time, go to the Starbucks next to the Hanseatic Museum for a cup of coffee. It is beautiful inside and outside, and you can also enjoy the street view.
