What travelers say:
Personal experience - great food
This is one of the rare times I say "amazing"! It's like visiting a private residence (which it is!). There was personal service and all six courses were Baltic... After three courses the kitchen guy came over to say hello... We were there for over three hours! You'll definitely see me at Statholdergaarden next time you're in Oslo!

Norway. The end of June is the best season, with 20 degrees during the day and 19 hours of sunshine. The first meal was at Statholdergaarden, a Michelin restaurant in Oslo, which lasted until sunset at 11 o'clock. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent. It is indeed a famous restaurant in Norway.
The restaurant is worthy of its one-star Michelin title, the dishes are exquisite and delicious, especially the seafood.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated, has a great location, and the food is delicious.
