Her Father’s Cider Bar + Kitchen has a long name, abbreviated to H.F. It’s Canada’s first cider bar. Cider is basically beer, but tastes more like apple juice with alcohol added. People love “adult cider” and Toronto holds a “Cider Festival” every summer.

A restaurant that I have been waiting for too long! Finally, I made an appointment with Counter Tasting Menu. #1 of Canada will not disappoint. There are 14 courses, but the whole process is very smooth. Chef used a lot of Japanese food ingredients, which was not messy, but greatly enhanced the modern style. It was the first time I encountered foie gras in French cuisine. It was as tender as water, and it was embarrassing to not be able to fork it after cutting it. Steak with white chocolate sauce, surprise? Finally, there are four dessert courses. Each one is very creative, and none of them are just for the sake of numbers. 💯

Known as the best homemade gelato in Toronto, every bite is full of sweet fruity aroma, just like eating real fruit. Paired with their waffle cone, it is simply wonderful. After eating the strawberry, I went back to add a mango. There are many other special flavors of ice cream. While eating, you can walk from Leslieville to the nearby Kew-Balmy Beach.

I don't know if it's because of the cold weather, but I found that the people in Tulang Village love to drink porridge. This is said to be a long-established porridge shop in the village. I forgot that the dishes here are large in quantity, so I ordered dishes according to the customary quantity in Vancouver. As expected, I packed half of them home. The boat porridge and fish fillet and pork liver porridge are not insufficient in ingredients. They have all the necessary ingredients, but they are not made delicately enough. So the taste is not as good as the Queen's Famous Porridge I tried last time.

A small shop specializing in sugar water. Sugar water is probably the name and way of eating in the south. It is similar to Western desserts. It is an entertainment program after the main course and is often seen on TV. It is not as delicious as the legend says. The ginger milk is very smooth and refreshing, but it becomes more and more bitter the more you eat it. Why? Vegetarian glutinous rice balls and sugar dumplings are all glutinous rice balls. It’s okay to take pictures, but it’s a joke to want to eat them again after eating them.

Great atmosphere. Excellent service, trendy place. A modern and retro decoration style. The whole wheat bread sandwich tastes better and better, and it is very healthy. I will come here to eat next time. It is very good.

This potato-themed restaurant is very good, with many people coming to eat there every day. It has a bit of a Finnish feel, with potatoes being the staple food alongside rice. There are many ways to cook potatoes, and you can eat them in different ways.

This restaurant in Chinatown looks like a Chinese restaurant, but it is actually a Southeast Asian restaurant. The food here is quite authentic. The hot and sour taste is really intoxicating. The beef noodle soup is unforgettable once you have tasted it.
