Elegant restaurant with friendly, efficient service. We were impressed with everything we ordered; the filet mignon was perfectly cooked and married well with the chestnut puree. I loved the duck confit -  tender and perfectly seasoned (not salty), the orange reduction cutting the richness of the bean puree. Generous portion of gambas Al alho. However, the cast iron dish in which it was served was cold so that the gambas meat was warm inside but the shell was cold. I was expecting the dish to be piping hot with stronger garlic flavor.

Very good restaurant, home cooking, everything was perfect. The atmosphere was less good because it was a rainy Sunday and I think that&#39;s why.

Sophisticated ambience in a historical Portuguese manor house. Creative take on Portuguese classics with premium ingredients. Friendly and informative service. Highly recommend
