The dishes in the restaurant are very personalized and the prices are very reasonable. However, there is a very fresh smell in this restaurant. I really like this smell as soon as I entered the restaurant.

This restaurant serves delicious seafood. The ingredients are extremely fresh and delicious. The octopus here is very chewy and especially delicious.

The food was very exquisitely prepared and the presentation was very particular.

I don't understand reviews that say the staff are unfriendly and don't speak English. Wrong on both counts with exceptionally helpful and friendly staff with as much English as you'd ever need. The food was excellent and in a one week stay in Funchal, it ranked the highest. The included wine option was superb value. We would definitely return.

We had a lovely time. We had the meat lovers menu and the food and the service were excellent. Just what you expect from a top class restaurant.
