Sirga Wine Bistro

We had requested a special evening with the Chef’s choice on food and wine pairings. He was amazing as usual. Our waiter, Ricardo, is so knowledgeable of the wines and terroir. Words seem inadequate for the memorable evening we shared at Sirga.

Beautiful setting next to the Duoro River ,watched the full moon rise over the hills whilst having drinks and exploring the menu Food was lovely but waiters attention to the correct wine that would compliment the food was exceptional It’s a steep road down to the restaurant ,good driving skills or a taxi is recommended Thank you for a great evening

Some of the best food we have had in Portugal, absolutely delicious. We also tried different wine varieties which were explained extremely well by the waiter. Highly recommend!

Lovely atmospheric feel,perfect seats looking over the river. Staff were brilliant and looked after us very well. Lovely food croquettes to share then salmon risotto and lamb cutlets followed by cheesecake and brownie. All superb. Thanks

Definitely the best meal we’ve had so far during this holiday, amazing and attentive service by the very friendly staff and the restaurant is in such a beautiful setting. The value was incredible too, the bill would likely have been twice the price in the UK. Definitely worth a visit and we will 100% be back if we come back to the the area on holiday.
