Excellent food. Excellent service. Ambiance is amazing one of our Favourite places to eat. The rack of lamb is just amazing

If you like lamb chops- it’s their specialty and it’s the best I’ve ever had. Potatoes au gratin and green vegetables- yes! Not boiled like so many Portuguese restaurants. Beautiful seating area outside- get a great cocktail (Old Fashion) and relax before dinner.

The food is top class, we had fabulous prawns, Cataplana and the rack of lamb! Followed by crepe suzette and strawberry flambé! Luis our waiter was excellent. Always a favourite for us

We hadn’t been to Por do Sol for months but have to say it was really excellent. The food was exceptional, the wine was superb and reasonably priced but the star of the show was the service which was fantastic from start to finish 👏👏👏
