The service took a bit long and the food didn&rsquo;t came at the same time for everyone, that was the only thing that should be improved. Relaxed ambient, tasty food and nice portions, price is fair and the employees are super attentive (the girls) and caring. I would recommend the pataniscas, sweet potato fries, eggplant, octopus salad and the leite creme.

The food is amazing, beautifully cooked and presented.  We had the octopus and squid as mains plus some sides in an air conditioned dining room to escape the very hot evening. The service is well trained, multilingual and very good but can be over attentive. Also a little spoilt from the upselling of the drinks which we didn&#39;t want, possibly to retrieve the discount taken from the bill.  Having said that we would definitely go back for the food and be firmer in saying no to more expensive drinks we hadn&#39;t asked for!

Had a great dinner last night.  It was a fun surprise to walk in and see our name on a reservation card on the table..  Food was great and the staff delightful

This restaurant was a true surprise for us.. High quality food and top professionalism level..We highly recommend it..

The service is outstanding, not pushy, but very supportive, giving good advice on food and beverage selection. We, as a group of four, chose several tapas and all, yes all were delicious. We will be back.

We went here because my boyfriend wanted to go to a steakhouse for his birthday and we were not disappointed. I would not normally go for steak but oh my goodness it was delicious. The steak was cooked exactly the way I like it and was delicious. My boyfriend had the ribs which were very tender. The staff were friendly and the menu had a wide variety of choices to suit everyone. This place is not super cheap but you get very good quality meat for your money. Would recommend this restaurant!

the staff was super nice and so was the food. we ordered two &ldquo;house&rdquo; cocktails and they were good, but my friend&rsquo;s had ?sugar? on the outside of the cup which made her fingers dirty when she picked it up ☹️

Tha ambience is delightful, with an open front to the street with comfortable chairs.  Inside is a rather romantic space with well separated tables.  We were recommended to order a small plate each followed by a shared larger dish.  Quality was excellent and the glasses of recommended wines unusual and well chosen.  Followed by a shared desert.  It was a pleasure, wuth knowledgeable cheerful service

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at DeCastro Gaia.  The restaurant was very kind to accommodate our request for a table adjacent to a window with a terrific view of the bridge.  Both appetizers and entres were excellent, as was the selection of ports.  The dining room is a great size, not too large yet intimate at the same time.   We did not venture upstairs to the roof terrace, although there is a relatively steady stream of guests passing through the dining room en route to the roof.  We would happily return again when next in Porto.

Excellent food. tapas portions big enough for 2 to share. we had 4  altogether and was more then enough. really tasty food and excellent service. there was live music on while we were there which added to the fantastic atmosphere!

Cheeses and sausages of the best quality served in a very welcoming environment! Highlight for the friendliness of the staff.
