What travelers say:
The food is good and the view is awesome. The lack of entree options outside of a pork dish is the only reason I’m probably not over the moon about this place.

Found this restaurant when spending a night in Marvão. Do not miss it. We traveled for 10 days in Portugal and this was by far the best meal we had. The service was attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming and the food was incredible. I recommend making reservations because there are not a lot of tables . I hope I can go back, it was a great experience
Perfect on a cold winter night!Very efficient and polite service. The food was really tasty with a lot of local ingredients. Definitely will come back soon.
This is traditional restaurant with a modern decoration off on a cobble-stoned in the heart of the walled city. We had the meat/cheese board which had a nice variety of meats and 1 cheese. We also had the sardine pate which was just a spread in a plastic tub. It tasted fine, but seemed a like a weird shortcut for a higher end restaurant. We also had the pumpkin/coconut soup with chestnuts. As we have found to be frequently the case in Portugal, the soup wasn't served very hot. But it had a good flavor and was a nice change from the usual offerings at traditional restaurants. We shared the lamb stew and there was plenty for both of us. And we each had a chocolate mousse for dessert. The mousse was really rich and had a gummy--not light--texture. However, we are beginning to think that is how chocolate mousse is made in Portugal. The service was attentive and helpful. The waiter was even the one who suggested that we share the lamb stew because he thought we had already ordered enough food.
Good food, prompt and helpful recommendations from wait staff, who even dissuaded us from ordering a dish we were going to order. Black pork cheeks in red wine sauce w/ chestnuts and mushrooms was tender and flavourful. Recommended.
