PALATIVM Restaurante

We were definitely positively surprised: stunning place, some of the best food we've had in Portugal and very fair prices. We were staying in Penacova and it is well worth the 30 min drive.

We had lunch on a Saturday and had the lunch menu (it’s not the one displayed in this app) it was a great price for what was included (starters, soup, main dish, desert, wine, coffee), the food was great and the staff was very nice. I’ll definitely will come back

Charming staff, fast service for a gourmet restaurant. Excellent fish soup and the sea bass and shrimp duo with black rice was very original and tasty. We really enjoyed this meal, as well as the hotel where we stayed.

We had seafood rice for dinner which was simply divine. As expected it was done on time so we had to wait some time but it was worth it. The white sparkling wine sangria was not at the same level as the dish served, so although it was pleasant, it did not justify the price of 19 euros. Finishing with a dessert that exceeded all expectations (moist biscuit cake with vanilla ice cream. Crunchy palatial oreo soil and rice with forest sauce). What a spectacular dessert. We left satisfied and, despite the price paid, wanting to repeat.

Superb from start to finish. The place is quiet and tastefully decorated. The staff, both at the hotel reception (José) and at the restaurant (Paula), are top-notch and very professional. The restaurant is magnificent and very quiet, given the fact that the reserved tables were spaced apart, which adds a certain intimacy. Which was the goal for our wedding anniversary. " The variety of dishes and the freshness of the products are excellent. The service is practically worthy of "French service," and I would do it again without hesitation. The rest of the common areas and hotel deserve the same praise... it's nice to find establishments in Portugal in the Figueira-Da-Foz and Coimbra regions with this level of professionalism and standing...
