Portions could be extremely big in relation to their price (for instance mixed fried fish for 16 €) and extremely small (4 noodles as a starter for 17 €) - so overall you wouldn’t leave hungry L’Ambasciata. With the discount of The Fork you should not hesitate to visit this restaurant.

TheForkUserWow, the antipasti octopus salad and mussle clam soup were amazing! Our waiter (also son of the chef) was super nice and selected a wonderful menu with us. The stewed fish with white wine and olive sauce was the best we ever had. We had a lovely last night in Cagliari thanks to 51!

TheForkUserWe were a group of 7. We ate early and we’re the first people in the restaurant. It has a good vibe, with a young, friendly, welcoming, engaging staff who spoke good English. They had a great aperitivo selection and an extensive choice of pizzas -with ‘a wider than normal’ selection of toppings. The prices were very reasonable. When we finished after a couple of hours, the place was buzzing and pretty full.

TheForkUserExcellent menu. Food was delicious (although was a little slow to be prepared). The sea bream was superbly grilled, and undressed very thoroughly and at the table. Service was very good too. I’d love to come again!

TheForkUserThe food was divine! Mussels with Parmesan sauce were unique and delicious! Sardinian ravioli were delicious. Two people ordered an ordinary sounding beef dish that the rest of us had doubts about ordering, and wished they hadn’t. Stick to local or restaurant specialties.

TheForkUserI loved the atmosphere of the restaurant which I thought was nicely decorated. The service was quick and impeccable.We opted for empanadas for starters, they were great and share a huge skewers with lots of different cuts of meat and sausages. It was absolutely delicious.Thank you for having us!
