We asked the waitress if someone could come out who could help us because she didn't understand what we were asking, and she replied that she was the one who understood the language the best there. We were quite shocked.

TheForkUserIf you are in Lleida you should try this restaurant. It’s a lovely local place, the food was fantastic and the service very friendly. Because it’s a local place, expect Spanish food and Spanish speaking staff, but also expect excellent food (and drink!).

TheForkUserVery warm welcome in the Pena restaurant, perfect service for a very small price! You will feast on dishes and there is quite a lot of choice. The setting is very pretty, for 25€ starter/main course/dessert and bottle of wine, tablecloths and cloth napkins it's just great! The staff is kind and friendly, everything that makes the beauty of the Spanish country, people are authentic even in the professional environment.

TheForkUserWe were in Lleida for the night and I really wanted to eat seafood. I did a quick search and up popped Caravista. We turned up, (probably a little early, first customers), and were greeted by the chef who instantly made us welcome. The food was first class, after an initial wrong order, but this was due to a translation mistake. A very talented chef that served some breathtaking and surprising dishes. Excellent.
