The food was very tasty and the dishes were generous,  and udge.  The welcome and service were warm, polite  kind and professional. The wine suggested was perfect and fits the dishes.

Chiavenna&#39;s summer is the kind of scenery printed on postcards. Stroll through the old town, explore the buildings that have grown out of history, and stand on the Mera River Bridge to overlook the town surrounded by mountains. This river originates from the Alps, passes through Switzerland, and finally flows into Lake Como.

Caff&egrave; Bistr&ograve; Mastai is the largest cafe in the town. It faces the town&#39;s train station. The Colico-Chiavenna line ends here. Ten kilometers away is the Swiss border.

The Acquafraggia waterfall around the town is considered by Leonardo da Vinci to be the most important natural monument in Valchiavenna. In summer, you can climb and shuttle through it. It is an ideal place for hiking.
