A special lunch for a 3-day tour of eastern Canada. Their home is in Trois-Rivières between Montreal and Quebec City. The lunch is very rich, with bread, soybean paste, vegetable soup, meat pie, egg pudding, and the most special black tea☕️, and of course maple syrup. The meat pie is very similar to the fresh meat mooncakes in China, and the taste of a mouthful of maple syrup tea and a mouthful of vegetable soup is great. While enjoying lunch, we listened to the restaurant performers singing, holding Quebec's unique metronome in their hands. After lunch, we went outside to enjoy the maple syrup lollipops, which are special in winter. Pour the maple syrup into the ice and snow, and let the maple syrup condense automatically. Instantly, the soft and refreshing maple syrup turned into a lollipop. What should I do if the maple syrup melts while eating? Dad gave the child a good idea. Just stick it into the clean snow, and it can solidify quickly. It's really a super good idea. A different Canadian farmhouse. After eating, you can buy some maple syrup specialties by the way. Whether it is a shaped lollipop or maple syrup, it is cheaper here than many other places.

The restaurant is not easy to find. I called the waiter to lead us there. The service was quite friendly. The restaurant is not very big. The appetizers are small. It was the first time I saw the pasta. It was just a little bit at the bottom of the bowl. The duck was a little hard. The fish tasted great. The oysters and raw beef tasted good. Overall, it was good.

The warm-toned decoration makes people feel very relaxed, although the seats are a bit crowded The menu changes frequently, mainly depending on what ingredients are available that day I personally feel that it is still in the exploratory stage overall, and the quality of the dishes is somewhat uneven The fried zucchini flowers dipped in yogurt sauce are very refreshing and interesting The morel mushrooms in the garlic clam are too salty to eat, making people suspect that the chef's hands are shaking and the morels are wasted The magret de canard pan-fried duck breast is excellent, just the right medium-rare, paired with caramelized cipollini onions and sweet and sour Gastrique (French caramel vinegar sauce), the various flavors are very balanced. In addition to the duck for two from Canis a few years ago, Dreyfus' duck can be ranked second in Toronto in my heart The ingredients are good, but the possibility of stepping on thunder cannot be ruled out, and it still takes time to observe

La societe is crowded with people, and they actually love the romantic French decoration and the distinctive stained glass ceiling there more than the food. Looking out at the beautiful night view of Bloor Street West, I feel so happy with the plump and tender oysters that are famous in Toronto and the stomach-warming and fragrant cauliflower soup. The main dish of cod was tender and sweet but the portion was too small! It’s better to come back for the regular menu next time.
